This May, villages across the UK are joining a global wave of kindness. Our village is adding our own Acts of Hope β simple, everyday actions that show care for others. You only need to do one small thing.

ACTS OF HOPE WEEK
Small actions. Big difference.
You donβt need money, time, or special skills. Just one small act of kindness.
πΌ HOW OUR VILLAGE CAN SPREAD HOPE
- Share One Thing A tin from the cupboard, a packet of seeds, a bar of soap, a book youβve finished. If you have one extra, someone else might need it.
- Write a Message of Encouragement Add a kind thought, wish, or hopeful quote to a Hope Jar or Hope Board that you want to share with friends or family.
- Plant a Seed of Hope Grow a sunflower, herb, or wildflower at home as a symbol of hope growing here.
- Take a Kindness Walk Pick up one piece of litter, smile at someone, or check on a neighbour.
- Share Something Uplifting Post a photo of something that made you smile β a flower, a sunrise, a pet, a moment of beauty.
- Pass On a Good Turn Do one quiet kindness for someone this weekβ¦ and donβt tell them why.
- Make Something Small Knit a square, sew a tiny bag, make a bookmark, bake a few extra biscuits.
π WHY IT MATTERS
Hope grows when we share it. Every small act makes our village a kinder, warmer place to live.
