We have 21 small pots of newly planted Honeysuckle & Cornflowers to give away

SIMPLE WAYS WE CAN SPREAD HOPE in the village at at the tea

  1. Share a packet of seeds, a favourite recipe, a poem, a joke, a kind thought, a wish for someone going through a hard time, a hopeful quotation.
  2. Share a photo of a flower, a tree, a view, your dog doing something daft, your favourite nearby walk, a sunrise or sunset, lambs in the field.
  3. Make book marks to give away or friendship bracelets.
  4. Pick up a piece of litter along the way, smile at a friendly stranger, check on a neighbour, notice & share something beautiful.
  5. Pass on a good turn, hold open a door, let someone go first, send a kind message, bake & share a few extra biscuits to share, leave a flower on a doorstep.
  6. Share skills like teaching someone to knit, or how to plant seeds, do simple DIY, share a story of village history.
  7. Tell someone they matter, thank someone, compliement someone, acknowledge a quiet helper, send a note to someone who is struggling

Finally

Ros (Compassion Direct) will be visiting a women & child project in Rwanda - jet fuel supplies permitting, in August & hopes to fill one of her suitcases with pens, pencils, crayons, erasers, rulers, markers, reading, colouring & learning books for children - good condition, games, stickers, puzzles, drawing paper, small garden tools and kitchen tools (weight!) tiny plastic toys not fluffy.
