Sustainable mountain school garden

More than 65 children living in remote mountain areas of northern Argentina - Chaco, are unable to access education so their parents are building a boarding school so that their children can study, without education their lives will be as their parents, llama farmers living on the edge of starvation and poverty.  Students are currently too far away from government built schools to be able to travel from the remote areas where they live.

They needed to  grow their own food at the school to live.  CDUK  raised money to help them become sustainable.  We provided the seed, plants and equipment necessary to create a sustainable garden/orchard, with poly tunnels & fruit trees.  Thank you for your support for these children who will forever be in your debt.
