We funded a well in a remote area of northern Argentina which provided water for a rural school for some time until a severe drought reduced the water aquifers to such an extent that the water being pumped became too salty to drink!

Water Harvesting Tanks

What a disaster this was for the school, whose water was shared by the village and used to nourish trees and vegetables.

Working with our partners APAER based in Buenos Aires, CDUK was able to provide the school with water harvesting tanks to collect the heavy winter rains for use in the dry season.
