How do we raise money for our projects?
Simple ways are..........
Counter Collecting tins - these can raise up to £200 a year each, if you would like to be responsible for some in your area then get in touch with Ros on 01341 388649.
On line shopping - Smile Amazon. You can go to this site and choose CDUK as your nominated charity and then each time you buy on line we get a small donation which mounts up and costs you no more.
The Giving Machine - similar to the above but with a wider range of ships to choose from, you can even do your weekly shop online and benefit CDUK.
Donations from our website - here on the donations page, you can make a payment with your card.
Standing Orders to CDUK - just write and ask Ros - on our contact page, for a form that you can return to us and she can send to the bank with your request. These are great because they help us to plan ahead when we know what is coming into the bank each month.
Door to Door collections - these need local council permission but are easy when you get a permit and some leaflets from us to give to people you visit.
Supermarket Collections - these are great and can easily raise a few hundred in a day but need permission from the local council and the supermarket in question.
Give as you Earn Payroll Giving - ask at your company if you can make a regular donation to CDUK?
Gift Aid - you can Gift Aid your donations to us, just ask for a Gift Aid form to be sent and we will be able to collect aid from your donations, normally up to 25%
Local Fundraising - see our other pages for fundraising ideas. If you do work in your local community you can ask for funds for CDUK, like car washing, gardening, selling plants, planting trees etc.
Harder and slightly more complicated ways to raise money.......
Major Donors and Philanthropy
The Big Give
Grant Making Trusts
Ask us if you have the skills and think you can help with raising money by the more complicated routes and work together with us to liaise and provide you with what you might need. Ring 01341 388649 for a chat with Ros.
Any more you can think of, let us know we are always looking for new ideas please
