BASIC SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES FOR PHOTOGRAPHS
1.The theme of the photographic competition is: EARTH IS THE HOME WE SHARE & all photos submitted should have relevance to this theme. The contest is open for Facebook submissions only.
2.The 12 winners will have a goat named after them, receive a personalised certificate & agree that their photo will become part of a page on CDUK's next calendar if & when it should be produced.
3.The competition will run for 16 weeks from April 1st 2020 until July 15 2020. Judging will be by CDUK Trustees & will take place before the end of July 2020, results will be posted on our Facebook page & on our website www.compassiondirectuk.org
4.All photos submitted should be in jpeg format only & will not be accepted after the deadline.
5.TO ENTER your photograph, 'Like' CDUK's Facebook page, make a comment about or give a title to your photo tagging two friends who may be interested in participating. Post your JPEG photo on our Facebook page - it will be moderated before becoming public. You may submit a maximum of 5 photos.
6.You are required to provide a unique title & description for each image submitted
Please share your photographs from our page to your Facebook site – this is not mandatory.
7.Entry is FREE. However, we are all volunteers at CDUK & the more money we earn the more projects we are able to fulfil so If you wish to make a £5 donation please text CDUK to 70970.

8.The 12 goats won will be bought by CDUK for a village in Ashanti Ghana where we dug a well & helped rebuild a school. The children of the village are too malnourished to learn & need the milk to grow & develop & the village needs the goat economy. More information on CDUK's work at the school can be found by scrolling down the CDUK Facebook feed.
9.There must be no borders, logos, copyright marks, identifying marks, or any other visible references or marks on the image.
10 Basic editing, including colour enhancement, the use of filters, and cropping of the Photo(s) is acceptable, provided any such editing does not affect the authenticity &/or genuineness of the Photo(s).
11. Advanced editing used to create illusions, deceptions and/or manipulations, and the adding and removing of significant elements within the frame is prohibited.
12.Every image uploaded is subject to a moderation process before it becomes visible on the contest page. We reserve the right to assess and disregard any submitted photo at our its discretion.
13. Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and/or environmental violation, and/or any other contents deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions and practices the UK, are strictly prohibited and will be immediately discarded.
1.Judging will be by four members of CDUK Trustee team. The judging panel shall assess and determine the winning Photos.
2.The number of Likes for the photo will be taken into account by the judges but the judge’s decision on aesthetics & subject matter will be final and binding on all Participants in respect to all matters relating to the Contest.
3. We reserves the right to call for original JPEG or RAW files with unchanged EXIF for the purpose of authentication. An image maybe disregarded if this information cannot be provided.
